Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily running of the nursery

Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding standards

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to the nursery team
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure high standards of care and education
-
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and the wider community

Plan and implement educational activities and staff training
-
Monitor nursery budgets, staff rotas, and occupancy levels
-
Conduct regular audits and prepare for Ofsted inspections
-
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence

Requirements
-
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred)
-
At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role in an early years setting
-
Strong understanding of EYFS and statutory frameworks
-
Safeguarding Level 2 (or higher) and Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
-
Confident in using nursery management systems and reporting tools
-
Ability to work full time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
